Mission Dance Centre presents BALLET ARTISTICO

Our dance family warmly welcomes you to join us for a Thanksgiving celebration of Power, Grace and Gratitude! Join us on Sunday October 13th at 7pm for an evening of inspiring and breathtaking performances of Ballet Artistico!

Be treated to a line-up of professional powerful women who will grace the stage throughout this special evening of dance and music to make this day memorable and awe inspiring. Highlights include excerpts from Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Romeo & Juliet, with innovative works in the genres of Modern, Neoclassical, Broadway Jazz and Flamenco.

Main attraction is a small ensemble of professional dancers, highlighting the performances of Anna Baerg, Annette Bakala, Olivia Latendresse, and Laika Wintemute. Joining this dynamic ensemble will be MDC pre-professional dancers from the Senior Program.

Also featured, will be special guest star Anna Jacyszyn! To top it off, Artistic Director, Tanya Vadurova, will perform in the authentic flamenco choreography of Fiona Malena, a well- known International dancer and choreographer.

To further entertain your families, during our intermission you will have the pleasure of experiencing the talents of Mission Dance’s New Youth Company, making their debut!

To finish off the evening, embrace the fall season with post-performance reception, dessert, coffee, and tea as we come together to honor this time of gratitude. Become part of our community and dance family and experience the joy of being surrounded by local artists this Thanksgiving.
